Arrow Outreach - Serving the Juarez communities and people

Over the last three years, Northridge has built a classroom, computer room, and library for the impoverished "Socorro School" in Juarez, Mexico. Over that same time period money has been raised to provide electricity, bathrooms, a playground, school uniforms, books, computers and many, many scholarships for the children of the Socorro school. There are continuing fund raisers to benefit the Socorro school and to provide scholarships for the students.

It is critical to understand that when in Juarez, we are in another culture. We can not impose our cultural mind set on our Mexican brothers and sisters, particularly our beliefs of time management and project importance.
