Who we are

Arrow meets the needs of Juarez community by helping individuals and families achieve meaningful improvements to their lives through a host of services. A grassroots network of community centers and churches are located across the lower-income sections of Juarez, and together they serve people of all ages, backgrounds, and religious affiliations.

PUblic Health and economic development

Skills and career training are delivered free of charge, and generate new income sources and valuable skills that improve the community. Training includes cosmetology, computer/internet, sewing, and cooking.

Refugee services were added to support central Americans who have fled violence, political instability, and persecution at home. Services include temporary dormitory housing, food & hygiene, food services.

Medical services access provides rides to clinics, at home visits, and assistance with primary care access, physical therapy, and preventative services for children and adults.

CHILD DEVELOPMENT AND FAMILY ASSISTANCE

Child development creates opportunities for the young people of Juarez. Children are offered daycare and receive three nutritious meals per week. Classes and summer camps are offered for sports, musical instruction, and theater.

Family services build stability for the local community and encourages family units to grow out of poverty. Local families receive daycare, haircuts, and free meals. At times housing construction assistance has been provided as well.
